Attempt number 2 at getting back into drawing. I thought I'd try another genre of art in the way of pixel art rather than traditional art and also try doing plans a cross sections with it. I've always personally liked doing plans of fictional places and machinery so I thought I'd do them digitally instead of just on scraps of paper. The Power station is my first attempt and I'm pretty pleased with how it turned out, even though it took me quite awhile to do including doing the detail in the main command centre. I hope you enjoy and I'll try to get more done and put on deviant art without the 4 month+ gap. p.s. I'll also get to work making

Its Begins

I got my new Wacom Bamboo Fun tablet from PC World on Thursday and began using ArtRage and Photoshop Elements to make some pictures. At there pretty crude at the moment and I require to improve my technique and also maybe get Photoshop CS as it would be so much easier when I can draw lines (there is no pen tool in elements just a brush tool) and for drawing a lot of my pictures a tool to do straight liens would have been so useful. I'm currently doing a picture per day and all are for fun and just testing out techniques at the same time. I'm going for a comic/manga style for the actual objects but for things like backgrounds a more realistic
